The Roman Catholic Church was at one time the wealthiest and most influential institution on the planet but comparing interest on global government debt with money created from thin air as opposed to coins in the coffers in huge expensive to run buildings, the Rothschild bankers have to be way ahead, which is why the RC Church, (the famous prostitute of Revelation 17) is destroyed by the beast (bankers) and their 10 regions of the coming NWO:

"The ten horns you saw (NWO) and the beast (Rothschild), will hate the prostitute (Rome); they will take away everything she has and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and destroy her with fire." Rev 17.16

When I heard that the pope had resigned the other day, I thought it
was time to write a post on a book I read recently called
'Ecclesiastical Megalomania - The Economic and Political Thought of
the Roman Catholic Church' by John W. Robbins (1999).

The book details the ongoing efforts of the Roman Catholic
State-Church to own and rule the whole world, everyone and everything
- and to crush all opposition. For the last five centuries, the Jesuit
Order (Society of Jesus) has been a major power in the world, helping
to achieve this.

Here are a few excerpts from the preface of Ecclesiastical Megalomania:

‘One hundred and fifty years ago, the English historian Thomas
Babington Macaulay (1800 - 1859) wrote “There is not, and never was on
this earth, a work of human policy so well deserving of examination as
the Roman Catholic Church.”

The Roman Church / State is the oldest institution continually in
existence, tracing it’s roots at least to the 6th century and, if one
believes the Church’s own claims, to the time of Christ himself.

For most of that time, it has been the most powerful institution in
Europe [and therefore in the world] and though its fortunes fell after
The Reformation in the 16th century, it has made a remarkable
recoverable in the past century.

One American Roman Catholic priest wrote “The Catholic Church must be
the largest corporation in the United Sates”. In addition to being the
worlds oldest, largest, most powerful and most influential
politico-ecclesiastical institution, the Roman Catholic state may be
the worlds wealthiest…only the assets of a handful of civil
governments might surpass its massive wealth.

It is very difficult to ascertain the assets of the Roman Church; the
organisation does not report its holdings to anyone, including its
members and researchers who have endeavoured to discover its riches
have found no limits to them - only their ability to see the horizon…

…[their] property includes tens of thousands of buildings, millions of
acres of land, tones of gold and silver and precious stones; art
collections, rare documents; and millions of shares in business
corporations throughout the globe. Since the Roman Church / State is
even more formidable than at the time Macaulay wrote, this study of
her economic and political thought needs no further justification.”

This is the text from the back cover:

‘In his book Aquinas: Selected Political Writings, A.P D’Entreves
argues that ‘it is hardly possible for the modern man to accept the
system which Thomas Aquinas founded…without renouncing the notion of
civil and religious liberty, which we have some right to consider the
most precious conquest of the West.’

Professor D’Entreves perceived the conflict between Roman Catholic
political theory and human freedom;

Ecclesiastical Megalomania - The Economic and Political Thought of the
Roman Catholic Church explores that conflict in detail, relying on the
official pronouncements of the Vatican to demonstrate that Roman
Catholic political and economic thought and the Roman Catholic church
have been hostile to constitutional government, political and economic
freedom and private property, for centuries.

Roman Catholic political and economic thoughts have engendered
feudalism, the corporate state, liberation theology, the welfare state
and fascism.

Those who wish to preserve human freedom must understand the
philosophy of the Roman Catholic State-Church’

The true Christian martyrs of the Reformation in the 16th century
rightly identified the Roman Church as the whore of Babylon, as
described in the book of Revelation. In the New Testament, Rome is
referred to as Babylon (see 1 Peter 5, 13)

The Reformation came about as a direct result of the Fall of
Constantinople in 1453 - the city was renamed Istanbul in the 1920’s.
This invasion was the brutal end of the Byzantine Empire at the hands
of Sultan Mehmed II, ruler of the Ottoman Turks. One unforeseen result
of this invasion was that many hundreds of religious scholars fled
West, from Constantinople into Europe, taking very ancient biblical
manuscripts with them.

Martin Luther was, then, able to accurately read and compare the Book
of Daniel and the Book of Revelation - and thereby accurately identify
Rome as the Anti Christ power.

European scholars had access, for the first time, to some of the
earliest Bible manuscripts. These Byzantine documents read very
differently to the texts approved by the Roman Church, all that was
available in Europe at the time - and only available to certain
members of the clergy. People were routinely burned alive for
possessing a Bible.
