Assange talks about Bradley Manning's abuse.  His treatment which was akin to torture.  He was tortured to try to break him and force him into  confession about Wikileaks which would have implications for Assange's own future, had Bradley Manning cracked.

Assange has written a new book, which outlines the massive effort being made by the global elites to close down the internet, and the huge number of people being placed under threat.

There are five million people in the USA working within the 'national security' framework, carrying out mass surveillance of the rest of the population.  That is not untypical of all countries.   These are states within a state using the internet to spy and control the rest of the population.

Facebook.  Google.  They are all part of the paraphernalia of state surveillance.

He says, 'Julian Assange is not a very important person'.  The problem is what's happening to everyone, not just him.  The suppression of freedom of speech, and the collapse of the rule of law are big problems all across the world.  The issue is the surveillance state.

This a threat that all of us face.  The trend was seen as long ago as the 1930s.  The combination of technology and new laws are bringing democracy to an end worldwide.

TAP - He was clearly brought on for ritual media humiliation, which he handles masterfully and gets his message across.

Julian Assange Releases New Book on reKiosk

Not surprisingly, Julian Assange‘s new book Cypherpunks: Freedom and the Future of the Internet is not available from Amazon. Instead of working with the corporate book retailer, the Wiki Leaks founder and his publisher OR Books have made the book available for sale through reKiosk, a site that enables indie stores to sell digital content. (And the book is currently the main attraction, with a road block banner ad when you go toreKiosk.com).
reKiosk lets creators sell eBooks and music outside of major online marketplaces, through a network of smaller online shops. Makers who publish content into the network, enable the entire community of reKioskers to sell the creation from within the seller’s kiosks. The creator gets 70 percent of the sale price.
Want to give a copy to a friend for Christmas? The site recently added a feature that lets you send gift files for free via email. Anytime a user uploads a file, they can give it away to 20 different people by clicking on the gift icon in the user’s catalog. The gift recipients don’t have to be reKiosk members, but they do have to join to download the item.
